The very first major to be competed in the VGC series back in 2009, The British Open was the most defined major from the beginning. The idea that playing on links-style courses would bring a European feel to our local game, the British Open as born on the grounds of Royal New Kent. Each subsequent year as made efforts to continue that tradition, one which continues to challenge to golfers on each aspect of their game.

Game returns each year to the essence of golf, an old world touch on the modern game. Return visits to Royal New Kent, Legends - Moorland, and The Highlands provides the feel of tradition.
