The Winter Series
Introducing the winter series best-ball match play events! Follow along as our tour golfers get randomly paired to face off in a competition for bragging rights in a non-stroke, non-RVa Cup, winter conditions play!
- Angry Squirrel = A new Richmond tradition, this event is typically played in early December in dorment grass and leaf covered ground, as the squirrels are collecting their winter rations.
- Frostbite Fingers = This event takes place when the weather conditions require going 2 gloves and mutiple layers, can be played in either December or January
- Griswold Open = A yearly tradition, this event celebrates the holiday season the weekend prior to Eve's. Conditions could vary from bitter cold to unseasonable warmth but the constant is the festive nature and poor course conditions.
