The inaugural season's final major took the golfers to Stonehouse G.C just outside Williamsburg - a first for all the golfers. A back and forth round ultimately saw by Rick outlast the competition for a 1 shot victory.

2009-09-06_The Crossings

A local course on the golf card, The Crossings is the only course on the card played previously. This time out, Steve took the victory by 5 and set up a showdown for the final major.

2009-08-26_King Carter

The first U.S. Open visited the quaint town of Irvington, VA and the course at King Carter G.C. Steve added to his major title count in impressive fashion, becoming the first multiple major winner.

2009-08-16_Royal New Kent

A return trip to Royal New Kent on the CBS 6 golf card (that spurred much of the consideration for majors) allowed for Steve to inact a bit of revenge in a 1 shot victory - but no major title on the line this time.

2009-07-30_Kingsmill

The first Masters tournament as was the first, and only, multi-round major, fought over a afternoon/morning rounds set-up. An opening round at Kingsmill culminated in a final round at neighoring Golden Horseshoe and Steve's first major title.

2009-07-12_Royal New Kent

The first ever major of the Virginia Golf Championships. The links-style layout of Royal New Kent offered the ideal setting for the first ever major in the 2009 British Open. Rick flew under the radar to take the first major title with a 2 shot victory.

2009-06-05_Heathland

The rare scorecard kept from the annual Donkey Cup trip to Mrytle Beach, SC. The Heathland course was used for the opening round, individual score format to determine the golfers' ranks for the team pairings and match-ups. Jeff A. proved as the #1 seed.

2009-05-01_River's Bend

This once decent course unfortunatly fell into disrepair by 2015 but this round in 2009 provided a new experience on a scenic course boarding the James River. Rick captures the victory with a little prior course knowledge and a strong opening 9.

2009-04-17_Providence

A new season begins, a season of majors. This warm-up round is a precursor to the inaugural season of the VGC Majors, the pressure, competition, and fun is yet to come. Steve took this round in comeback fashion.
