Hunting Hawk

“Hunting Hawk Golf Club is located in a beautiful setting beside the Chickahominy River in Hanover County, Virginia. A great deal of care was taken during the design process to fit the golf course compatibility on this exceptional site selected by HHHunt Corporation. Working with the gently rolling terrain, mature stands of trees and wetland areas to incorporate them as features, allows the course to "lay lightly" on the land. These existing features and the surrounding scenery give the golf course an inherent visual quality and natural character.”

RAGA take: The clubhouse is fully equipped for any golfer’s needs. A conveniently located putting green gives closes access to the first tee but the driving range is a bit of a trek from the clubhouse. The course is typically in top-shape condition and provides a nice combination of easy and difficult holes. The par 5s all offer a risk/reward component as water is in play on each approach shot.

Hunting Hawk is nestled in the woods of Glen Allen and is a quaint escape from the bustles of the big city. Found just a few miles NW from I-64/I-295.
