The Hollows Golf Club

“The original course (Lake/Road nines) is long and open on the front side and increasingly tighter on the back. The White Pines and Leyland Cypress trees planted along the fairways back in the mid-80s are just now starting to mature, and can affect shots that drift too far left or right. The new Cottage course is much tighter and demanding. All three courses can be mixed and matched.”

RAGA take: The only course on the RAGA tour that has three 9s. This 27 hole course in the quaint countryside of Glen Allen offers 3 distinct 9 hole options that makes every outing of 18 holes unique and varying. The Road 9 tees you off next to the clubhouse and offers direct and straightforward tee shots with OB opportunities going out. The Lake 9 offers the signature #2 with its daunting tee shot over “Pollards Pond” and partially lake-protected green. #3 coming back places the lake back in view on the tee for an intimidating series of shots. The Cottage 9 offers some short but tight holes going away from the clubhouse with the toughest par 3s on the property.
