A Donkey Cup warm-up round to loosen up the ol' muscles and acclaimate to the hot temps of mid-June (didn't prepare us enough). Mike edged out a win over Steve, both leaving Rick in the dust.

Steve took the reigns early, steering a 1 over score, parring 4 out of the first 5 holes, whereas Mike found himself 4 over in that same stretch. Rick was already 10 over through 5 and didn't improve the rest of the way out. Mike, however, birdied 9 to take a 2 shot lead after the front as Steve stumbled to the turn. From there on, Mike was able to match Steve's good holes, both parring 12, 14, and 15 and held on to win by 2.

This three-man round was won by Mike in stroke play but Steve took the skins game. Not the best preparation by Rick for the Donkey Cup, but Mike and Steve look to go into the team tournament with positive vibes.
