Jon C. backs up one stellar performance with another, this time taking the victory over Rick, Kris J., and Steve. True to form, Jon C. is always a threat to win in any round. Watch for him in up coming majors and at The Donkey Cup this June.

Rick and Steve jumped to an early 2 shot lead after 3 holes, each carding trip-5s thru 3. However, a double par for Rick on the short par 3 4th and one for Steve on the tough par 4 6th, allowed Jon C. and Kris to leapfrog the frontrunners for the lead. This was accomplished by both remaining consistant thru the turn, with Jon C. taking a 2 shot lead to the 10th. Jon C. continued his impressive play on the back, not scoring anything over a 6 during the entire round and finishing with an impressive 87. Kris, unfortunately, had too many 6's on the back, plus a 7 to finish in 3rd. Rick was able to right the ship after a 47 front to close with a 45 despite a triple bogey snowman on the last. Steve too came home with a 45 with the help of a birdie on 16 but the damage was done with the 51 front and 2 double pars in the round.

Despite all of this, the score spread was only 9 strokes making it a highly competitive round to the last hole but Jon C. was too much, remaining in the zone and this time it paid off with his 1st victory of the season.
