In his first round on the RAGA tour in 2015, Mike shows that age is just a number, taking down Todd, Steve, and Rick. The consistant Mike took top honors playing his game while the rest had their typical blow-up holes (or two).

The early season rust was still visible Rick and Steve, each struggling on the outward 9 where big numbers were abound. Mike and Todd showed their experience on the cool morning going out tied after 9, 4 ahead of Rick and 5 in front of Steve. Rick's struggles continued on the back where a snowman family made residence, finishing in a distant fourth. Steve was able to improve by 5 shots on the back 9 over the front but the deficit actually increased, leaving him in third.

Mike and Todd continued to battle on the homeward 9, seeing Mike only take a 2 shot lead into the short, water fronted par 3 17th. Mike's par gave him some breathing room after Todd's double bogey, ultimately ending with a 3 shot separation between the two golfers.
