Steve edges Todd at the line to take this early season match-up. The wet conditions and cool weather kept Rick's and Jon C.'s clubs cold, finishing a distant 3rd and 4th respectively.

The second round of the young RAGA season saw Todd jump out to a fast start, leading by 3 over Rick at the turn. Jon C. struggled in his first start of the season, falling back 10 shots of the leader after 9, including a 9 on the stream-lined par 5 5th. Steve lurked 5 back at the turn, stuggling a bit coming into the intermission, but in typical Steve fashion, bounced back coming home.

The comeback was real as Steve moved within 3 going into the always difficult dog-leg left par 4 16th. A downhill, over a wall-lined creek second shot is daunting at any point, but the pressure of leading a tour event will bring any score into play on this hole. A double par 8 for Todd while a clutch par by Steve vaulted the chaser into the lead, now he was the hunted. Steve was able to match Todd coming on the final two holes to take his first RAGA tour victory of the young season.
