After another disappointing Masters performance, Rick, Mike, and Todd attempt to console each other with a casual round at the venerable mainstead Sycamore Creek.

You know things were doomed for Rick when he started out par-par on the opening Par 4s. What would follow would put him behind by 4 strokes by the turn. Two double pars going out helped turn in a 48 on the opening 9. Mike almost continued his perfect bogey average golf for the front, carding a 45 going out, with the help from two pars, and found himself only 1 back. Todd matched Mike on the way out but took advantage of a rare Mike triple-bogey on 7 to take the 1 shot edge going into the back half.

Although Rick did improve on the back with 45 coming home, he did not play a factor in what would become a Todd-Mike duel to the finish. Both players matched holes shot-for-shot until pesky, 2nd-hardest-hole-in-Richmond, Sycamore 16th. Mike suffered a double-par where Todd scrambled for a double-bogey. When the dust settled, Todd (87) to the match by 3 strokes over Mike (90), and 6 over Rick (93).
