A casual, end-of-summer round as Rick, Steve, and Jon N. return to the most birdied course on tour, Providence. The original 3 will try to turn back the clocks and capture the glory days in this throw-back, boys-of-summer round.

The casual, nothing-on-the-line round being played on the most birdied and familiar course on tour setup for low scores. Before it was all said and done, 4 more birdies were added to the largest tally on tour. Steve started off strong, with a par on 1, which usually means struggles for the remainder of the round, but this omen did not come to fruition on this day. Jon N. parred the par 3 2nd. Rick struggled on the 1st, a long par 4 but righted the ship with a respectable 46 going out. Steve birdied 2 holes on the front (4 and 8) combined with a couple pars and jumped out to an impressive 6 shot lead after 9, with a 40. Jon N. struggled on 7 & 8, finishing the outward 9 in a 48.

Steve continued his impressive play throughout the back 9 with 3 pars and a birdie on #17, closing the round with an 11 shot victory over Rick. His total of 3 birdies and 5 pars and nothing over a 7 showed his game is in top form. Jon N. birdied #13 on the back 9 but struggled on 15 and finished 14 back. A final tune-up for the Olympic finals shows Steve is in top form in his bid for bronze.
