A rare non-Rick round finds Todd, Jon C., and Mike taking on their familiar home course of Sycamore Creek. Joining the RAGA members is potential member, Dave K., who gets his second compulsory round under his belt. A final tune-up before the Olympic playoffs begin for Mike and Todd and a chance for Jon C. to save some face as his round-robin matches come to an end.

The RAGA threesome began tight with the golfers all within 2 shots after 3 holes. Todd grabbed the lead with a birdie on the short par 3 4th, leapfrogging the field. The tight par 5 5th proved difficult for Mike, recording a quad and putting him in a deficit he was unable to make up. Todd was able to carry his early success through the turn with 2 shot margin over Jon C.

The long downhill par 4 10th opened the back 9 in dramatic fashion, as Jon C. birdied the hole as Todd bogeyed, knotting things up at the top. Things remained tight until the usually crucial final 4 holes. As Jon C. went par-par-birdie on 15, 16, 17 respectfully to establish a comfortable lead going into the hazard laden 18th. Despite a triple on the final green, Jon C. captured his 1st victory of the season, his second on the RAGA tour, by 2 shots over Todd and 7 over Mike.
