Organized as a practice round for The Donkey Cup competition, this saw the first multi-group, greater-than-a-foursome RAGA tour event - consisting of 6 tour members: Rick, Steve, Jon N., Jon C., Mike, and Todd.

Competed on the famed Moorland course at the Legends Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC, this round was designed to get the golfers acclimated to the heat, humidity, and socialization that comes along with The Donkey Cup event. Although in different groups, Todd and Jon N. rounded tied at 47, 3 shot ahead of Rick, their closest persuer. Mike (52), Jon C. (53), and Steve (54) were shaking off the affects of the 5+ hour drive and an early morning wake-up call. Todd and Jon N. remained tied thru 14 but the hazard laden Par 5 15th and "hell's half-acre" short Par 4 16th, took another victim in Jon N. as he pencilled a 9 and 7 respectfully. A bogey/par finish was not enough to over come that tough stretch as Todd claimed a 3 shot victory over the 6-man field.

Jon N.'s nice final 2 holes recovery gave him 2nd, Rick remained consistant and took 3rd, Steve followed his front 9 54 with an impressive bounce-back 45 to take 4th. Mike shot 5 shots better than his front to finish in 5th, and Jon C. struggled in this practice round, limping in at 6th - fortunately not a sign of what was to come in the team competition.
