Legends - Parkland

“Offering distinct contrasts to the first two Legends courses, Parkland demonstrates the diversity and beauty of the natural terrain with contoured, tree-lined fairways, vast natural areas, deep-faced bunkers and massive, multi-level greens. Opened for play in October 1992, Parkland is modeled after the style of architects Alister MacKenzie, (Augusta National) and George Thomas (Riviera Country Club). Playing the unforgettably challenging fairway and green-side bunkering requires a deft touch off the tee and on the approach. From tee to green, strategy will be the order of the day on this stunning, par-72 playing field.”

RAGA take: The newest and longest of the three courses at the Legends resort, Parkland winds through the condo area and newby neighborhood which offers plenty of out-of-bounds worries on every shot. The greens are the largest but most undulating on site so it is key to place your approach shots in the right spots. Long par 3s and narrow shoots on the par 5s will lead to number of high scores. However, you are scoring well, feel free to take a dive in the lake off the 18th tee box in celebration (disclaimer: do not do this)

The longest of the 3 courses at the Legends Golf Resort, this tree-lined course can before among the available condos at the resort.
