As the summer winds make their final gusts, a small group of RAGA Tour die-hards returned to Providence while others were enjoying the last breaths of summer on vacation. Steve, Todd, and Patrick attempt to beat the heat with a low pressure round.

Steve and Patrick broke a sweat early, going 6-over through through 3 while Todd breezed to a 3-over for the entire front 9 (38). Steve found himself 6 back at the turn and Patrick 14 behind the scorching start of Todd.

It was going to take a firehose to cool of Todd and Steve opened the hydrant with a birdie on the short par-4 10th. He made up another short on the long par-3 11th but it was the winding par-5 12th that turned up the heat. Todd took a plunge and got drenched in a quad 9 as Steve sizzled with a par, not only covering the deficit but went up 1 with six holes to play. Things were in full boil as it was tied going into the long, downhill par-4 15th. Todd found himself cooked with a triple and Steve parred going up 3 with three to play. This 9 shot swing was completed as Steve matched Todd stroke for stroke in the final holes to win by 3 (84).
